It’s Not Always Black and White

What’s it like to grow up in an HBCU town in Louisiana the 1950’s and 60’s? Or to be a young African American boy in a conservative Midwestern town during the same era? Chances are you have some preconceived ideas of what this may have been like, but the truth is, it’s not always black and white.

Linda and Pompia Durril share perspectives that may be unfamiliar to some and they do so with the insight and humor that only a couple married 40+ years could. We’re grateful to have them join Human Library Fort Wayne with their aptly named book: It's Not Always Black and White.
