Rebecca Karcher is an open book when it comes to discussing her transracial family.
She and her husband had a goal when they started the adoption process. It was to open their home and their hearts to a child deemed ‘unadoptable’ by the system. One to whom they could provide unconditional and overwhelming love. That child happened to be Black.
In Rebecca's human library story, she shares some of the universal truths of motherhood as well as the unique challenges and worries she has navigated and still navigates as the white mother of a Black son.
