Jackie Sanders comes to the Human Library Fort Wayne ready to share her journey as a transgender young woman.

She’s willing to talk about the tough times of bullying from peers, difficulties with school leadership, and the day-to-day depression and anxiety - all of which create the need for online homeschooling. She’s open to sharing how crippling social anxiety leads to severe loneliness and to answer the often-asked question of how she navigates assigned bathroom usage.

She’s also willing to talk about the best parts of being who she is and the wholeness she is coming into with her transition. We applaud Jackie’s courage to speak with such honesty and openness and are grateful she has joined our library.
